Day 26 - Thursday 13th August

Kamenjak Nature Reserve

Today we drove to Kamenjak (extreme south of the Istrian peninsula).  The area was declared protected in 1996.  We needed to queue to pay for our entrance ticket and drove down to the very tip.

 

 

 

After a steep walk down the cliff, admiring the butterflies, we pitched our sportsbrella on the rocks and watched the cliff divers and played in the sea.  The sea was deep with rock ledges with lots of fish,

Lunch at the Safari Bar:  Fabulous bar at the end of the Peninsular:  with shade and great kids play areas.

We drove home via the port of Medulin for a spot of shopping and of course the daily dose of ice cream!!
