Day 23 - Monday 10th August

First day at Kamp Diana.  A small quiet campsite run by Diana and her son Kristijan.  Refreshingly different from the last crazy party site in Italy.  Really helpful having a personal touch as we know so little about the country and the area.

We have a nice shady pitch here, there's a very nice pool, small bar/grill and very new and clean facilities.
We walked down to the local beach/harbour where the crystal clear waters are teeming with fish of all sizes (much to Ellie's delight - she has a new dual purpose net - butterflies and fish).  Decaf coffee seems popular here (quite a change from Italy!) and a couple of fantastic ice coffees were very welcome - especially at 10kuna (which is about a pound)!
Dinner in Banojle - a huge seafood platter was quickly dispatched!
Its several degrees cooler here than in Italy, with a pleasant breeze.  Still a huge number of mosquitoes but the girls are taking the inevitable bites in their stride - frequent sprays and comparing of bite locations and number!  We have booked a boat trip tomorrow, should be an adventure.
