Day 24 - Tuesday 11th August

We all got up early to catch the bus to Pula Harbour where our boat awaited us.

We all enjoyed the 2 hour journey on the boat to the Lim Fjord where we stopped for lunch (well maybe not Catie - but she perked up after a doughnut!!)

Passed the islands of Brijuni on the way:

Continued onto Vrsar where we had a couple of hours to visit the beach.

The water was clear and refreshing.  The wibit assault course was good fun, although a bit tricky for Ellie (and Mum preferred to watch from the comfy loungers :-).  Gordon liked to splat off it into the water, blaming his lack of beach shoe grip of course.

Continued on the boat to Rovinj:

Beautiful medieval town, its narrow streets crammed with art and craft shops, winding up to the church at the top of the hill with stunning views over the town.

Boat took us back to Pula and a taxi back to camp.  The camp's chef knocked us up a selection of grilled meats for dinner - fantastic!
